Skim milk protein concentrate - Offers a better and more authentic latte taste while delivering less sugar (lactose), a complete amino acid profile and creamier mouthfeel than alt-proteins. As a result, it supports lean muscle synthesis and helps satisfy hunger with 11g of protein per 8oz can.
Cane sugar - Real sugar in small amounts tastes better and is more digestible than sugar alcohols or artificial sweeteners. Because our milk protein is low in lactose (milk sugar), the 5-6g of natural sugar we’re adding back brings the taste/sweetness to the level you expect from a latte, still with less than half the total sugar you’d normally expect in other products
Non-GMO, expeller-pressed, high-oleic sunflower oil - that’s a lot of words (and hyphens), but the details matter here. The high-protein creamer that we created to give our lattes their signature, indulgent and creamy texture, required fat in addition to milk protein. In selecting a fat, we chose to search for an unsaturated fat with proven heart-healthy benefits (vs. saturated butter fat). We found a specific “expeller-pressed” (no chemical solvents, retains high leves of Vitamin E) sunflower oil that is high in monounsaturated fats (Omega-9) and very low in polyunsaturated (e.g Omega-6) and saturated fats. The fat profile is the same as that of extra virgin olive oil (EVOO) and provides richness to the lattes with a neutral taste and credible health benefits due to the Omega-9 monounsaturated fats.
Dipotassium Phosphate - helps manage acidity (pH) to prevent curdling and ensures a smooth, consistent texture before and after pasteurization.
